The Arizona Cardinals have released CB Brian Dixon Tuesday, according to Darren Urban.
Dixon, 27, originally signed on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of back in 2014. He was on and off of their roster for three seasons before the Cardinals signed him off of the Saints’ practice squad last December.
Dixon was in the final year of his contract and set to make a base salary of $690,000 for the 2017 season.
In 2016, Dixon appeared in five games and recorded two tackles for the Saints and Cardinals.
