The Cardinals announced on Monday they have agreed to terms with unrestricted free agent Markus Golden on a two-year contract, a move that helps strengthen their situation at outside linebacker.
Golden’s new deal, which is worth $9 million according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, likely spells the end of Haason Reddick’s tenure with the team. Reddick, who led Arizona with a career-high 12½ sacks last season, is expected to sign elsewhere as an unrestricted free agent.
Reddick, 26, finished fourth on the team with 62 tackles and led all Arizona defenders with six forced fumbles and 16 quarterback hits.
