The Arizona Cardinals are re-signing linebacker Tanner Vallejo to two-year deal, per a report from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport on Wednesday.
Rapoport reported that it is a $4.1 million deal, "bringing back the core special teamer who will also have a role as a (linebacker) in (defensive coordinator) Vance Joseph’s defense."
Vallejo, 26, joined the Cardinals in 2019, first on the practice squad in November, before he was elevated to the active roster in December. In 2020, he played all 16 games for the Cardinals. He had 16 total tackles on defense, two quarterback hits and a sack.
