Adding two quarterbacks to their practice squad suggests the Cardinals’ epic quest to find the “quarterback of the future” is ongoing.
In their three-plus years together, this pursuit has led General Manager Steve Keim and coach Bruce Arians to, among others, Ryan Lindley, Logan Thomas, Matt Barkley and now, Aaron Murray and Zac Dysert, whose signings are expected to be announced soon.
It’s a long shot that either is the answer. The more reasonable goal is that one of them could play competently in an emergency.
