Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer will undergo surgery to repair a broken left arm suffered Sunday in a 33-0 loss to the Rams, coach Bruce Arians told reporters after the game, and will likely be sidelined eight weeks.
Palmer was sacked by Rams linebacker Alec Ogletree after getting intercepted by free safety Lamarcus Joyner with 5:48 remaining in the second quarter. He left the game and was replaced by Drew Stanton, who completed five of 14 passes for 62 yards and also threw an interception that enabled the Rams to tack on a 53-yard field goal before the half.
