The Arizona Cardinals announced Thursday that they’ve promoted OT Vinston Painter to their active roster.
Painter, 27, is a former sixth-round pick of the Broncos back in 2013. He lasted just over a year in Denver before he was waived and later signed to the Browns’ practice squad.
After a brief stint with the Giants, Painter signed on to the Dolphins practice squad midseason in 2015 and returned the team on a future’s deal. However, he was waived coming out of the preseason and later claimed off of waivers by the Redskins.
The Redskins re-signed Painter as an exclusive rights free agent this offseason but waived him as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit.
