There were so many offensive linemen getting cycled in and out of the Cardinals’ locker room during the 2018 season, they probably should have installed a revolving door. New faces kept showing up at such a pace, guard Justin Pugh said he never even learned some of their names. You only need five men to form a line, but the Cardinals ran through at least 20 of them.
“After a while, I stopped counting,” Pugh said.
Injuries had torn the group apart, forcing 13 different players into starting roles at various points in the season. Only one player – a rookie, Mason Cole – started all 16 games.
