It’s rare to see Patrick Peterson without a smile, and his laugh, which is more like a cackle, often can be heard above all the other noise in the locker room at the Cardinals facility in Tempe.
Being Patrick Peterson is a good thing these days.
He probably will be named to his sixth consecutive Pro Bowl as a cornerback later this month. His wife, Antonique, is due to finish medical school in the spring. They have a daughter, Paityn, who is the center of their lives, and last Thursday, it was announced that Peterson is the Cardinals' nominee for the NFL’s Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, which acknowledges a player’s work in his community.
