Sitting a table behind Tom Clements, Cardinals wide receivers coach David Raih drew up an unusual comparison.
"Tom, Tom, I call him — you know like the X-Men house, and the professor?" Raih mused. "Seriously. He’s like this. And I'm sure all the guys he's coached, like Aaron (Rodgers) and Brett (Favre)... all those guys know: Tom's the professor."
A professor-like demeanor bodes well for Clements, whose success will revolve around an eager student: Josh Rosen.
The Cardinals announced last month that they had hired 65-year-old Clements as the pass game coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
