Believe it or not, there’s been an upside to the downside of being under lockdown and a quarantine for the Arizona Cardinals.
It’s allowed their “mad genius,” for instance, to get a little more creative while he bunkers down in his Paradise Valley mansion.
That’s just one of the names some of the Cardinals’ players and others around the organization have glowingly bestowed on young, second-year head coach Kliff Kingsbury because of his propensity for drawing up countless new-fangled plays and spinoff variations of others from an already huge stockpile of his signature, up-tempo, spread offense.
