Cardinals' injuries provide a different look

At 1-3, the Cardinals want to look like a different team when they play the 49ers Thursday night in Santa Clara, Calif.

Thanks to injuries, it’s a guarantee they will.

The Cardinals announced several roster moves on Tuesday, including placing running back Chris Johnson and safety Tyvon Branch on injured reserve and waiving punter Drew Butler with an injury settlement.

In addition, quarterback Zac Dysert and receiver Brittan Golden were promoted from the practice squad, and the team signed running back Kerwynn Williams to the active roster. Dysert's promotion suggests that quarterback Carson Palmer, who is in concussion protocol, is unlikely to play.
