EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The Cardinals had just rushed for 266 yards in a victory over the Cincinnati Bengals when left guard Justin Pugh emerged from the showers in the visiting locker room at Paul Brown Stadium and wanted to pick a fight.
"Are you guys going to rip the offensive line after this one?" Pugh scowled at a couple of Cardinals' beat writers. "Do we get credit or do we get blamed for this? I don’t know how this works."
Pugh was only half kidding. He had felt the Cardinals' offensive line was drawing too much criticism both from a local and national prospective and earlier that week, and went on a rant to anyone who would listen explaining how difficult it is to be a lineman in the NFL.
