Cardinals have their first pandemic scare as KeeSean Johnson goes on reserve/COVID-19 list

Kliff Kingsbury said it was going to happen at some point, that it wasn’t a question of “if” so much as it was a question of “when.” And now it’s here.

After 52 straight days of perfect testing and being hailed as one of the NFL’s premier clubs for their strict following of explicit health and safety protocols, the Cardinals finally have their first COVID-19 case.

Wide receiver KeeSean Johnson has become Arizona’s first player to officially be placed on the league’s reserve/COVID-19 list.

Players who go on the COVID-19 list have either tested positive for the virus or it has been determined that they have been in close contact with someone who has recently tested positive.
