50 years ago, the Cardinals signed an undrafted rookie free agent quarterback from Southern Illinois.
He went on to play 18 seasons with the franchise in St. Louis before finishing his career with a season in Washington. He also made four Pro Bowls.
The QB's name? Jim Hart.
