Cardinals running back Adrian Peterson is inactive for today’s game against the Rams due to a neck injury suffered a week ago.
Peterson didn’t practice all week and was listed as questionable. His absence creates a dicey situation at running back for the Cardinals.
Peterson’s backup, Kerwynn Williams, is active but is playing with cracked ribs suffered last week. Elijhaa Penny has one carry in his career, and D.J. Foster is playing in his third game with the team.
The other inactive players for the Cardinals are: quarterback Matt Barkley, receiver John Brown, receiver Carlton Agudosi, safety Rudy Ford and defensive tackle Corey Peters.
