Larry Fitzgerald has played on Cardinals teams with their share of quarterback killers, quintessential pass-rushing stars that have ranged from long-term mercenaries to short-term assassins.
They’ve included memorable names such as Calais Campbell, Bertrand Berry and Darnell Dockett. And they’ve included forgettable ones such as Dwight Freeney, John Abraham and Daryl Washington.
But in Fitzgerald’s 15 years with the franchise, the wide receiver freely admits he’s never been on a team with the edge-rushing skills as that of current Cardinals defensive end Chandler Jones. Since Arizona traded guard Jonathan Cooper and a second-round draft pick to the Patriots for Jones in March 2016, nobody has been better at ransacking quarterbacks.
