The NFC West Division had a major bombshell dropped that could be good news for the Arizona Cardinals.

After 14 historic seasons in Seattle, they have decided that they needed a new leader, firing longtime head coach Pete Carroll today.

Seahawks Chairperson Jody Allen came out with a statement, clarifying that Carroll will transition to an advising role going forward.

While with the Seahawks, Carroll was at the helm as he led them to becoming Super Bowl XLVIII Champions in 2014, beating the Denver Broncos 43-8.
