Harlan Miller’s hometown of Kentwood, La., isn’t just small; it’s so tiny there’s nowhere there you can go where you shouldn’t.
“It might not even be that big,” Miller, the Cardinals’ sixth-round pick from equally tiny Southeastern Louisiana University, said. “We just got a Dollar General (store), though.”
Miller, a three-year starter at cornerback, could become the next biggest thing to come out of little Kentwood, however. Despite its size, the community mostly known for its popular bottled spring water has produced a smallish share of star power, from pop singer Britney Spears to Pro Football Hall of Fame tight end Jackie Smith.
