The problem with aiming for perfection is that you’re bound to always miss.
Bruce Arians knows this, but that hasn’t stopped the Cardinals’ head coach from making his players strive for complete perfection every day and every week they play. There can be an inherent danger in constantly expecting nirvana, as it can turn into an obsession and make one intolerable of mistakes made by others – in this case, teammates.
Arians doesn’t care.
“No, I can’t imagine anything less than perfection,” he said. “Will you ever hit it? I doubt it. But you can get damn close.
