Some day – maybe – Chad Williams will earn the right to sit in Larry Fitzgerald’s chair in front of Larry Fitzgerald’s locker. For now, he can only pretend to be Larry Fitzgerald.
Williams decided to have a little fun Thursday while reporters were standing in front of Fitzgerald’s locker waiting for the Cardinals’ star wide receiver to show up for his weekly sit-down interview. With Fitzgerald nowhere to be seen, Williams sat on the king’s throne, draped a towel over his head a la Fitz, and pretended to be Larry Legend.
“I’ve been the guy my whole life,” Williams said, doing a horrible job of impersonating Fitzgerald.
