Cardinals' Calais Campbell hopes end isn't near

If that was Calais Campbell’s last home game in a Cardinals jersey, it looked like the veteran defensive lineman was going to end his tenure at University of Phoenix Stadium with the ultimate mic drop.

Campbell, after all, owned the first half of Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints.

It started with an 8-yard sack of Drew Brees in the first quarter, which tied Campbell with Simeon Rice (53½) for second place in franchise history on the Cardinals’ all-time sack list.

It continued with a fumble recovery in the second quarter that the 6-foot-8 Campbell nimbly returned 53 yards for the first touchdown of his nine-year NFL career.
