Cardinals blown out as Philip Rivers, Chargers roll

Quick recap: Philip Rivers set an NFL record with 25 consecutive completions to start the game, tying Ryan Tannehill’s overall record for most consecutive completions in a game, and the Chargers scored 45 straight unanswered points to blow out the Cardinals 45-10 on Sunday at StubHub Center.

Rivers went 28 of 29 overall for 259 yards and three touchdowns, two of them to Mike Williams, and running back Melvin Gordon III ran for two touchdowns before leaving the game in the second half with a knee injury.
