The Cardinals announced Wednesday they have agreed to terms on contracts with all six of their rookie draft picks: first-round selection Isaiah Simmons, third-rounder Josh Jones, Leki Fotu and Rashard Lawrence (fourth round), Evan Weaver (sixth) and Eno Benjamin (seventh).
Simmons, an inside linebacker from Clemson, agreed to his four-year deal with a club fifth-year option on Tuesday. The contract is worth $20.6 million and includes a $12.5 million signing bonus, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.
Simmons was a first-team All-American, was named ACC Defensive Player of the Year and won the Butkus Award as the nation’s top linebacker.
