Cardinals agree to terms with Seahawks' free-agent guard J.R. Sweezy, appear to set starting offensive line

The Cardinals’ upgrade of their offensive line might not be over just yet, but if they had to start the season tomorrow they’d do it with two new faces at the two spots up front they needed to fill.

That’s because four days after finding a new starting right tackle in veteran Marcus Gilbert, whom the team acquired from the Steelers in exchange for a sixth-round draft pick, Arizona on Tuesday agreed to terms with Seahawks’ free-agent guard J.R. Sweezy on a two-year deal.

Terms of the deal weren’t immediately known, but Sweezy is expected to sign it as early as Wednesday, according NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, who was first to report the story.
