The Cardinals have updated their special teams units.
Replacing Kam Canaday at long snapper will be veteran Aaron Brewer, who had played for Denver the last four years. Brewer had been cut by the Bears at the end of the preseason. The team also added veteran punter Ryan Quigley to replace the injured Drew Butler.
Butler, dealing with an ankle and Achilles injury, is still expected to hold for kicker Chandler Catanzaro during games.
Quiqley has spent time with the Bears, Jets, Eagles, Jaguars and Buccaneers, averaging 45.1 yards a punt.
A knee injury has also taken out inside linebacker Alani Fua, who heads to injured reserve.
