Cardinals’ ‘25 NFL Draft: Defensive Front 7 Top 1st Round candidates at each position

Today, I am looking at defensive front 7 players (by position) in the 2025 NFL Draft who might be available at pick #16 for the Arizona Cardinals.

  • SOLB —- Nick Scourton, Texas A&M —- best combo SOLB in the draft, a notch ahead of Jack Sawyer
  • SDE —- Tyliek Williams, Ohio St. —- the way he moves at 6’3” 327 is something special
  • NT —- Kenneth Walker, Michigan —- best “Jumbo” DT in the draft
  • WDE —- Walter Nolen, Mississippi —- most slippery, disruptive DT, save for Mason Graham
  • WOLB —- Jalon Walker, Georgia —- he wants to play the edge, where for Nick Rallis he could be the 2022 Eagles’ version of Haason Reddick
  • SILB —- Jihaad Campbell, Alabama —- perfect fit at MIKE because he is as outstanding in pass coverage as he is in run stopping
  • WILB —- Nick Emmanwori, South Carolina —- listed as a SS but is a tremendous box defender both versus the run and most especially in pass coverage where is truly gifted

Round 2

  • SOLB —- TJ Tuimoloau, Ohio St.
