Longtime NFL offensive tackle, Marcus Gilbert, is retiring.
The former Pittsburgh Steeler and current Arizona Cardinal released the following statement via his personal Twitter account:

Gilbert was acquired by the Cardinals in March of 2019 for a compensatory sixth round pick. He would eventually miss the entire 2019 season with a knee injury.
Gilbert opted out of the 2020 season due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
