Canadian League star Tristan Okpalaugo signs with Arizona Cardinals

Well, the Arizona Cardinals have finalized the first move of the offseason to improve their pass rush. After an expected visit, Canadian football pass rusher Tristan Okpalaugo is now officially a member of the Birdgang. The team announced he was signed to a one-year contract on Friday.

Okpalaugo (6-5, 258) spent the last two years with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League where he appeared in 31 games and recorded 65 tackles and 23 sacks. In 2014, he won the Frank M. Gibson Trophy as the CFL East Division's most outstanding rookie after collecting 12 sacks in 17 games.
