The Cardinals have yet to make any official announcements regarding their coaching staff under Kliff Kingsbury, but it continues to evolve nonetheless, and it changed again on Wednesday with news that former defensive line coach Brentson Buckner is returning to the team.
Per multiple reports and a mention of the move on Twitter by Buckner himself, Buckner is joining the team to serve as Arizona’s defensive line coach, the same job he had under former head coach Bruce Arians from 2013-17.
Buckner replaces Chris Achuff, who was one of five assistants to be let go by the Cardinals following the 2019 season.
