Presbyterian College is not your typical football program. The school's enrollment of 1,200 is three times smaller than that of Chandler Hamilton High School. It sports a kooky nickname – Blue Hose – and is home to the largest bronze statue of a Scotsman in the world, because apparently someone keeps track of those things.
It is also the alma mater of Justin Bethel, who is hoping to redefine his role with the Cardinals this season.
"It just goes to show you," Bethel said, smiling, "good things come out of small places."
