It’s only happened four times in the 117-year history of the Cardinals’ franchise and yet it’s almost a certainty to occur at some point during the next three weeks, perhaps as early as this Sunday night.
With 105 more receiving yards, John Brown will join Larry Fitzgerald with a 1,000-yard season to mark just the fifth time ever that at least two Cardinals wide receivers have both reached the 1,000-yard milestone in the same season.
The last time it happened was in 2009 when Fitzgerald finished with 1,092 yards and Anquan Boldin totaled 1,024. This season, Fitzgerald already has 1,088 receiving yards and Brown, despite missing one game and not catching a pass in another, has 895 yards and counting.
