With his team and the rest of the NFL under stay-at-home orders like millions of Americans because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Cardinals Chairman and President Michael Bidwill held a video news conference with reporters on Tuesday to discuss the state of the ream and the latest news surrounding the league.
Bidwill couldn’t say whether the 2020 NFL season will start as scheduled or if a full 16-game regular season will be played, deferring those questions to league officials. He did say the Cardinals are preparing for the draft and reiterated what Commissioner Roger Goodell has said – that it will be held as planned April 23-25.
