ST. LOUIS – There was no gloating in victory, no verbal jabs directed toward a loathsome opponent.
The Cardinals were all business after a 27-3 shellacking of the Rams on Sunday, offering a stark contrast to their previous road trip to the Gateway City.
The attitude reflects a much different team and mind-set. It also underscores the sense of urgency enveloping the Cardinals as they prepare for the stretch run of the 2015 season.
“In any division game, there’s always a little mouthing going on,” Cardinals star Patrick Peterson said. “But today, we, as the Cardinals, let the scoreboard do the talking.
