While head coach Steve Wilks spent the first few days of training camp shrugging off suggestions that he resembles movie star Denzel Washington, offensive coordinator Mike McCoy drew a different comparison.
"He’s a benevolent dictator," Larry Fitzgerald said, smiling.
Dictator sounds harsh, but Fitzgerald, who also described McCoy as "a really, really cool cat," is a fan.
To Fitzgerald's point, McCoy is interested to hear from his new constituents. As he forms his new offense, he very much wants their input. But at the end of the day, it's still his word that rules as law.
