With minicamp set to begin Tuesday, the Cardinals have added another tight end who knows Steve Wilks.
The team signed Beau Sandland to a one-year deal Monday, the second tight end in the last week – Bryce Williams was the other – to sign that had played for the Carolina Panthers when the Cardinals’ first-year head coach was on Carolina’s staff.
The 6-foot-5, 255-pound Sandland was Carolina’s seventh-round pick in 2016 out of Montana State, spending that year on the practice squad of the Panthers and Green Bay Packers.
He was among Green Bay’s cuts during training camp last season.
