Two big stories before either team even takes the field occurred.
The Arizona Cardinals, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, will be moving on from Head Coach Steve Wilks when the season ends December 31st.
More important to the game is that Todd Gurley, despite reports earlier that he was likely to play, will not be playing in today’s matchup.
While this is unlikely to change the outcome of the game, it should impact the overall closeness of the game and how the Cardinals are able to keep up.
The more intriguing question to me though, is if the Cardinals somehow rally behind the news about Wilks and win the next two games, does Michael Bidwill and Steve Keim move forward with the plan, or will that cause a reevaluation?
