If he was holding his breath like a lot of folks, Cardinals General Manager Steve Keim could finally exhale on Wednesday morning.
That’s when he got direct notification that both wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and running back David Johnson have completed and passed their respective physicals, thus making the Cardinals’ blockbuster trade a month ago with the Texans official and in the books.
“I was alerted this morning, so that trade will commence,” Keim said during a video conference call with reporters.
