The Arizona Cardinals are signing safety and special teams standout Chris Banjo, who spent the past three seasons with the Saints, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.
Banjo, 29, signed a three-year extension with the New Orleans Saints in March but he was released on Aug. 31.
He has appeared in 79 career games since entering the league in 2013.
Banjo spent parts of four seasons with the Green Bay Packers before joining the Saints in 2016.
He has three career interceptions but has made his markon special teams, where he recorded 22 tackles and a forced fumble for New Orleans.
