On the day he asked for his release from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League to explore opportunities in the NFL, quarterback Chris Streveler apparently had found at least a temporary home with the Cardinals.
According to TSN’s Farhan Lalji, Streveler is expected to sign a futures contract with the Cardinals upon being granted his release from Winnipeg.
Streveler, who helped the Blue Bombers win the Grey Cup this past season, played college football at Minnesota and South Dakota before spending the past two seasons with the Blue Bombers.
