MIAMI – It’s tempting to blame the rain here on Sunday for the Cardinals’ multitude of problems throughout most of the day. Everyone knows many Arizonans freak at the tiniest amount of moisture.
The Cardinals couldn’t get out of their own way for most of the day, committing four turnovers in the first half and blowing seven points on special-teams mistakes.
They rallied to tie in the final minutes but couldn’t move the ball on their last possession. The Dolphins did, with quarterback Matt Moore hitting Kenny Stills with a 29-yard pass to the Cardinals' 1.
After two runs, kicker Andrew Franks made a 21-yard field goal on the last play of the game to give the Dolphins a 26-23 victory at Hard Rock Stadium.
