Arizona Cardinals sign tight end Ross Travis to one-year contract

With the Arizona Cardinals still having one roster spot open and remaining the speculation was heavy about a certain #11 coming back.

Instead, the Arizona Cardinals decided to sign a journeyman tight end in Ross Travis.

Travis (6-6, 248) has played in 25 games (seven starts) in his NFL career and has 14 receptions for 142 yards. He originally entered the league in 2015 with Kansas City as an undrafted rookie free agent after playing college basketball at Penn State. After spending his rookie season on Kansas City’s practice squad, Travis appeared in 17 games with the Chiefs the following two seasons (2016-17).
