The Cardinals have signed punter Andy Lee to a two-year contract and released punter Matt Wile, the team announce on Monday morning.
The team also placed T.J. Logan on injured reserve, but he could return to the roster when he is recovered from wrist surgery. The Cardinals currently have 52 players on the roster, one under the minimum.
Lee’s signing has been expected since the veteran was released by the Panthers on Saturday. A three-time Pro Bowl, Lee and Cardinals kicker Phil Dawson were teammates with the 49ers in 2013-14. Lee was the holder for Dawson and will serve in that role for the Cardinals.
