Arizona Cardinals sign defensive end Cap Capi to a 1-year deal; waive Bryson Albright

The Cardinals on Thursday signed defensive end Cap Capi to a one-year contract and waived/injured defensive end Bryson Albright.

Capi returns to the Cardinals after spending the 2016 season on the team’s practice squad and being invited to training camp a year ago, when he made some big splash plays in the preseason. He spent last season with the Bills and the Giants. He appeared in four games for Buffalo, registering five tackles, a sack and a forced fumble. He played in four games for the Giants, collecting two tackles on special teams.

Capi entered the league with the Jaguars as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Akron.
