After releasing cornerback Alfonzo Dennard on the eve of reporting for training camp, the team announced his replacement on the roster. Arizona signed former Arizona Wildcat cornerback Shaquille Richardson to a one-year deal.
Richardson (6-0, 194) was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fifth round (157th overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft out of the University of Arizona. He spent the first part of last season on Pittsburgh's practice squad before being released on October 15. He signed with the Chiefs in February but was released on April 21.
