Not only did they sign small school prospect Tyler Sigler from Wheaton College, but they also signed running back Dontae Strickland from Syracuse.
Strickland (5-11, 201) was a three-year starter at Syracuse and played 47 games (27 starts) in his collegiate career, rushing for 1,717 yards and 15 touchdowns on 432 carries. He also had 63 receptions for 505 yards and four touchdowns. A Dayton, NJ native, Strickland’s 63 receptions rank third all-time in Syracuse school history among running backs. As a senior in 2018, he played in all 13 games and ran for a career-high 588 yards and six touchdowns.
