The Arizona Cardinals had been linked with drafting a wide receiver all offseason. On Friday night they made it a reality.
Chad Williams, out of Grambling State, was chosen with the 98th-overall pick of the 2017 NFL Draft. He caught for over 3,000-yards in his four years with the Tigers.
One look at his numbers over his time at Grambling State and you can immediately see why the Cardinals would be high on him. He caught 210-passes for 28-touchdowns in 47 career-games.
Williams saved his best for his senior season in 2016. He caught 90-passes for 1,337-yards and 11-touchdowns.
