The receiver room is now full. The Arizona Cardinals went out and selected another receiver in Hakeem Butler out of Iowa State with the first pick of the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft on Saturday morning.
Butler caught 60 passes last season for 1,318-yards and nine touchdowns. There were some questions about him that caused him to fall a bit but make no mistake, Butler will be productive.
The selection also means the Cardinals should be stocked up once Larry Fitzgerald is ready to retire. Now, that said, having Fitz around for at least one year with the likes of Butler and the team’s second round pick Andy Isabella from UMass on Friday night should help set up this room for years to come.
