The Arizona Cardinals made another move on the edge this week.
They released veteran pass rusher Marquis Haynes Sr. today just four days after he signed.
Haynes was an interesting pick up from the jump as he has not had much production in his career and he has only started two games.
That didn’t mean he was bad, it just was odd since the Cardinals lost a young player they were hoping to see grow into a larger role this season.
Now, Haynes was not necessarily a one-for-one for the injured BJ Ojulari, but if that was their plan to replace him, then it makes sense they cut bait quickly if they were not impressed.
