Last night, Shakur Stevenson won the WBC Lightweight title after defeating Edwin De Los Santos by unanimous decision. He is now 21-0 with 10 knockouts. Stevenson won in a bout that disappointed boxing fans as there was not much action.
The Newark, New Jersey native was able to control the bout without a high punch output. He didn't land more than 9 punches in a round.
So, now fans are going to be looking for a real challenge for Stevenson. Who can provide that challenge?
