The Marco Wilson experience is officially over.
After starting the season as the top cornerback on the roster, Wilson’s play earned him a spot on the bench, and today he was officially released from the roster.
Wilson has not played a defensive snap since the Cardinals loss to the Houston Texans, where he played 75% of the snaps.
In fact, since the Seattle Seahawks game, Wilson has seen his snap count slowly decline week to week, until he stopped playing defense altogether.
Now, the Cardinals have Zaven Collins, Rondale Moore and Victor Dimukeje left from the 2021 NFL Draft Class, which looks like another big bust of a class.
